Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer, and vocalist. An attractive, clever and gifted actress, she's a great inspiration to Asian actors aspiring to be big stars in Hollywood. Her early success was boosted through her participation in some of the most popular TV series. In those shows, she played the evil Ling Woo. She translated her unexpected fame into major screen roles in movies including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Her performance was outstanding in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In the same period, she also starred in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's small-screen role in Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland was a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in multiple parts, helped to establish her status as a performer. Liu chooses her roles with care to avoid becoming typecast in this competitive industry. While she's proud of her heritage, she does not let it limit her imagination.
