Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She became a TV host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She spent the majority of her childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie suffering from polio. She had a lot of issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl states that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father over getting too close. Sheryl was a soldier upon her graduation from college. Her passion was comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her first TV career in 1992 appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! She is currently a co-host on the talk talk show from the year 2011. She has played in fictional shows including Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
