Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. In Australia she became famous for her part in the character Pepper Steiger in Neighbors, an soap-opera which ran for 100 episodes between 2006 and 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood through two separate projects which included the first, choral comedy Hollywood & Wine in which she portrayed an actress who is who was a newcomer to Hollywood. Her next project was in the role of Maya the sexy and gorgeous medical student, in Scrubs in the 9th season. In the end, the show abruptly canceled. She then returns to the filming of a comedy produced by the Farrelly brothers Good to shoot starring the tandem Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson then appearances in short series and B-series movies. 2013 was the year she was able to take on more challenging tasks. The actress was in six episodes in the crime drama Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular in the web-based series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. In the two first seasons she has also provided an answer for Chad Michael Murray. In the following seasons, she was in supporting roles in both feature films that focused on airplanes. The first was a television film for SyFy's Flight 7500 which featured actors from TV shows. The other one is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She plays an air hostess. She also shares with Gabriel Luna the poster of a brand new television series that is titled Matador. The first season of this thriller with the stars who play CIA agents under Robert Rodriguez's direction, comprises only 13 episodes. A pilot of a different series, that hasn't had much success, is being developed. She shared the poster for the romantic comedy B-series Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared as Kevin Hart's co-stars for Comedy Witness for Rent. In addition, she's an integral part of a large collection of Terrence Malick's experiment Knight of Cups. She has also appeared in five episodes of the Satisfaction television show.
